Cut-N-Shoot Fire Department
Montgomery County ESD #12 formerly known as Cut-N-Shoot Volunteer Fire Department has proudly served the citizen of East Montgomery County since 1967. Due to a constant growing environment, in 1983 the department evolved from a Rural District into an Emergency Service District and is not governed by Montgomery County ESD #12. The department currently staffs two stations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a minimum of 6 certified firefighters.
Station 21 is located at 14421 Highway 105 East next door to Cut and Shoot City Hall. The station also houses a medic unit from Montgomery County Hospital District.
Station 22 is located at 18784 Highway 105 East next to the Security Community Center.
THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 12 ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 6.27 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $0.00.
